I don't know, but i can see us setting another record this season.

Aggregate has got to be at least in double figures....... that's for Benzema on his own.

Previous years have seen interims (Avram, RDM) fall back on the players, and let them carry us through the tournament.  This year we dont have the fighters in the squad to do this. Therefore leaving us needing tactical genius to deliver a result.

Unfortunately, I cant see it.

Never have I been so pessimistic going into a UCL knockout game.

Probably will just have this in the background. 

Well of the expected happens (19 out of 26 voters say Real knock us out) I can at least be happy for Don Carlo and Toni.

Is it bad that I would take a 3-0 loss? Like I genuinely don't want this to be a 5-0 or more battering, at least an acceptable L wouldn't stick around in history too much.

I don't think we will inflict a record defeat on them , a narrow win will do.

And ... Real Madrid have warmed up for the CL quarter-final with a home DEFEAT tonight 3-2 against Villareal. 2 goals for Villareal from a guy who has "Chukwue" as the first 7 letters of his surname. It's a sign !!! 🙂 

 

Last season we were close to knocking them out at their place, now we are worried about getting battered by them. Pretty f**king mental run of sh*t fortune.

I love your optimism....hit them on the counter...f**k we can't hit a aircraft hanger door let alone a barn door; what are we going to hit them with? A rocket launcher. There is no structure to this team right now, the players have been pulled pillar to post and are in a daze and are rudderless, its a bloody disaster to say the least.  If we get past Real Madrid I would be shocked as would the rest of the world.

29 goals in 30 Prem games this season. Worst goal stats since 1924 apparently. Wednesday could be tough ! Just a hunch but I think Frank will aim to park the bus in Madrid. I would deffo take a one goal defeat…..maybe even a two goal reverse would not be a catastrophe.

Yeah, we're going to get torn a new one by Benzema alone, I reckon.

Thee plan should be:

Stick 10 men in our own box and defend for our lives for 0-0. Nick a cheeky counter attack goal in the second leg.  

Likely:

Frank sends out a back 4, attacks like mad and we're 4-0 down at half.

 

Come on Frank everybody is always talking how smart you are, so show a back three. 

This whole tie looks destined J.Felix to show up and make a lot of people upset at the Bernabeu. I'm hoping that the winning mentality of Enzo and James gets through to the rest of the players, the team must show no respect to Carlo's team regardless of how poor we have been. We got nothing to lose and it may be a perfect storm that we simply aren't the favorites.
