What's odd is that he's not freshened up his team. He's not sought new ideas. This is actually hugely concerning to me. Other managers freshen it up.

She really should keep quiet about things that don't directly concern her. Read this for more info about Silva and Pochettino's "relationship". There isn't a relationship to lose there.

Reading the whole thing its also clear Poch has lost the dressing room so why the hell he's still here I don't know.

It’s a good shout tbh, it would protect Silva’s lack of pace, and he can marshal the back 3 so the likes of Disasi and Badiashille won’t look absolutely useless.

Chilwell is a problem this season but we’ve all seen how good he is as a wing back… Gusto would thrive as well.

Palmer can play where Mount used to play, with Nkunku and Jackson as hybrid attackers.

I can’t see where Gallagher could fit in this formation and to be honest it may be for the best if he’s dropped for a few games.

Gallagher, Sterling, Mudryk, Madueke all look out of the picture to me if we are going back to 3-4-2-1 ... the idea's looking better by the minute LOL

 

Back 3 oh my word. Haven't we seen how that goes. That is the fallback system that solidifies defence and dries up our xG. 

Tactical flexibility is good but if you look at the best sides they have drilled their main system to perfection. 

Not sure what kind of tactician Pochettino is in that regard.

We started the season with this 3atb hybrid. Ends up looking like Chilwell at left wing and Colwill at left back. Didnt look great then, and it wont look great now.

Realistically the only thing that's gonna change things is getting a better manager, but if 3 at the back limits the embarrassing defending we've seen in the meantime then so be it.

Nothing will change with Conor, he will compete with Enzo n Caicedo for pivot spot. 

The question that you should ask, what will happen to our 100m wingers (Mudryk and Madueke) because we have seen under TT what happen to Puli, CHO, ziyech when we played 343

It's almost like Tuchel and Potter knew what they were doing. Almost.

I really wanted Potter to do well. 

And I subscribe to the theory that you never really see what a managers value is until the 2nd season. 

But Potter just looked broken by the end. 

To be fair to Potter he had a squad full of players who knew they wouldn't be there the following season. Once Potter left we looked absolutely dreadful that season. He should have been given the first of half this season at least.

As someone who didn't want Potter hired and thought he was out of his depth, he was still better than Poch.

Was he though? We struggled to score a single goal under Potter. I think they're both pretty much as bad as each other. Pochettino may have the edge just because he has managed to get us scoring a few more goals.
