Bakayoko away to Watford was the single worst performance I’ve personally seen. 

Chris Sutton at home to Sunderland on the opening day of the 1999 season was a previous contender.

Kenedy didnt have a good game and the waiter stopped short of criticising him because Kenedys absence is next weeks excuse for the fat one.

The referee gave a free kick for that incident so I don't think he can be banned retrospectively. 

I don't think he will ever be good enough for us, but his £5m fee has already been made back from 3 loan moves. Hopefully he has a good season and we can get £20m for him in the summer and use the money for the 1st team.

That penalty kick that Kenedy took was as bad as the one Anelka took in the CL final at the Luznicki stadium, which unfortunately flashed back into my brain due to Kenedy's piss-poor effort.

Honestly, this was just as bad. Made worse by how long he stayed on the pitch. Bakayoko at least got himself sent off goving us fighting chance. Kennedy stayed on and managed to miss the game deciding penalty as well. Its a tough call tbh

Newcastle fans will be on his nuts next time he has a great performance. Haha, but that's football for ya.

Lampard says Kenedy is making a case for himself to be kept around this season in the first team squad. 

Can only see that happening if Willian were to be allowed to leave, which I just can't see.

I'm sure Lampard is trying not to upset anybody because from what I have seen, Kenedy has no chance. He just isn't good enough.

Smart public comments if we are to sell him.  Talking him up will keep potential bids high and prevents any interested club from thinking they can submit a low offer.

He has one year left on his deal, that's the key thing.

A terrible signing. He joined straight into that Brazilian clique that whiteanted Conte and has done nothing really to justify the expense. Take the loss and be rid of him in my view.

I actually don’t think he’s been that bad in pre season and is worth keeping around for cover. He can cover pretty much the whole left hand side. What if we pick up another CHO style injury to a winger? We’re down to 3 and if one of them takes a knock gets suspended we’re down to 2 which could be an ageing Pedro & Willian. I’d prefer him to cover LB over Alonso as well in all honesty, at least he has the pace to recover if he’s caught out which Alonso sorely lacks. Decent enough back up utility player for me, unless we get a decent bid for him.

I always had a soft spot for Kenedy. Really exciting player on his day. Hopefully he can kick on this season and show us what he’s capable of.

I'm coming round to the idea of him staying for this season (two weeks ago i was horrified at the though).

There seems to be a Kalou lite element to him, ie unpredictable to the point not even he knows what he will do and that could sometimes work in terms of coming on in the last 20 while 0-0 vs a stubborn defense.

He could be a joker card for us this year so to speak, like Origi was for the Scousers last time out.

Headed out to Reading... I agree with Carefree that this looks like a step back, but maybe he needed one to get back on track

I'm kind of surprised that we are loaning him, signs throughout the preseason seemed to indicate he would stick around.  Even more surprised it's to Reading.

Another one we should just cut loose really ... I think the strategy is to hope and pray that he actually does something decent on one of these loans, so we can actually sell him for a reasonable fee ...

He was pretty cheap... around 7M I think... He signed a new contract until 2022 before going out. even if he goes for 10M, a real world return of 3M is still a lot of money.

Obviously confident of CHO sticking around this season then...
