August 20, 20178 yr Very important win. Gives a lot of confidence after our result against Burnley, our attacking football wasn't good, but our defence looked very very strong, when a team has a strong defence then you have who to trust and now it's the time to build our attack. I won't lie, I felt like a CL game. That scream on Alonso's broke my TV A Strong performance by us, I'm happy! COME ON CHELS!!!!

Spurs had loads of possession but only six shots on target, says a lot about our collective effort and team spirit. Christensen, Bakayoka and Morata all had good performances and the 'media crisis' bullsh*t has been put to bed. Perfect Day! But... but... we're 12th, mid table anonimity! Can't wait to hear Jermaine Jenas btw

Conte loaned him last season and hasnt even put him on our bench even though we are down to bare bones. The dude is past it... He shd be sold or gifted to someone.lol
August 20, 20178 yr Morata is getting slated. Yeah, he missed the a great chance but we had 33% of possession. He's not fully fit. He was totally isolated. He wasnt that bad, terrific defensive headers when we were under pressure. It reminded me of Drogba clearing the ball from crosses. We won't play like that all that often, when Hazard and Pedro are buzzing around him, it'll be a different story. He'll get better.
August 20, 20178 yr All our enemies were waiting for a Spurs victory to jump on the Chelsea crisis bandwagon but thank f**king Christ we've shut them up. The media want a Manchester title race but we are back and not letting this title go without one hell of a fight; we were warriors today. Onwards and upwards, KTBFFH

August 20, 20178 yr Pre match Souness was going on about disharmony in the Chelsea squad, at the end he had to admit we showed fantastic togetherness. Bakayoko or Matic? Well on that performance Bakayoko is going to offer us a lot more. Rudiger needs to develop for the Premier League but he did well and Christensen was outstanding. Marcos Alonso was so good that I might have to change my avatar. Quote
August 20, 20178 yr shd be a warning. The emotions must be f**king highShould be a ban, no matter the emotions you don't say stuff like that.

If Cahill's challenge met the threshold for red then they should both have been sent off I did notice our guys were very careful to stay on their feet when tackling. I think that's why Spurs looked physically stronger than us in many one on one situations.

August 20, 20178 yr Really happy with what I saw from Bakayoko, to come in and play like he did with no pre-season, rushed back from injury AND on his debut away to Spurs was excellent, he made a couple of mistakes but the pros far outweigh the cons of the performance.

I think that's why Spurs looked physically stronger than us in many one on one situations. That's the issue 95-98% of the time Cahill's challenge isn't a red and whilst yes Chelsea don't see much love from ref's I very much doubt we will see that sort of challenge being given as a red again against Chelsea this season. It was extremely harsh. People can easily claim inconsistency, but in real time each challenge and each decision is very difficult to judge, yes in hindsight it is a lot easier to call, but refs do have very tough job and fans will always claim the ref was against them. For instance reading the spurs forum posted on here they thought the ref was against them, which I found laughable as for me the ref seemed to give a huge amount of soft calls in their favour. But one mistake or harsh judgement does not define the law.

They obviously can say anything without getting banned. They get like this every time we play them. It's good to read back the comments from before the game, it's like Karma slaps them in the face. They are so bitter and hateful on that site it's unreal. Hilarious though
