December 29, 20196 yr Nothing should hide the fact, Lamps doesn't know his best team or preferred system, but boy we battled
December 29, 20196 yr I know it wasn’t the greatest performance from us but listening to the commentators you’d think Arsenal was the unluckiest team in history.
December 29, 20196 yr What a fantastic result. Lampard messed up a bit with the original team selection but was smart enough to recognise the problems and take quick action. This tells me he may still be a bit green behind the ears but he has the potential to become an excellent manager. We go into 2020 in the top four. I‘d have been delighted with that back in August.
December 29, 20196 yr Some people seriously need to get a grip. Especially those criticising Lampard. What the hell were you watching? That game turned the minute he made the early substitution and changed the formation. A substitution Sarri, Ancelotti or Conte would never have had the balls to make that early in such a big game. From that point on we dominated possession and also had some parity in midfield. For anyone who has even a limited knowledge of the Arsenal back four, the goals were just a matter of time and patience.

December 29, 20196 yr Thought we would win yet after being behind for some time and banging on the door we got a bot of luck from their keeper and Jorgy was there to capitalise. Good second for me after we had some space on the break. I came in late to the match yet Willian looked a top performer during the last 20 at least. I see also Frank made an early change perhaps he has evolved or dare I say it read some our comments here.............
December 29, 20196 yr No idea how we won that. I can't say with any honesty that I felt we deserved anything from the game, we were poor throughout - sloppy with the ball, easy to carve open, slow build-ups letting them get back into position every time. Still, 3 points is 3 points. But we have to improve or make some signings in Jan.

It was the same with Conte when he arrived and then look what happened. Give Frank time and with a bit of spending next month and things will be better. I don’t think Emerson will be playing again, that’s for sure...Frank knows that

Well we did have more overall shots, more possession and all of the points, you have to give them something. (They got more yellow cards too)
December 29, 20196 yr Frank got it all wrong at the start. Made it right and we won. Great sign. Love Frank. Love Chelsea.
December 29, 20196 yr What a performance from Jorginho. He has his limitations but he cannot he on the bench. There’s a certain grit he brings that is needed in midfield where you actually need to battle. Possession naturally improves too.
December 29, 20196 yr Lamptey appears more secure than Reece from a defensive perspective and the boy is lightening quick

Everyone thought he had got booked the first foul, it even came up as his 8th booking of the season. Jorginho obviously knew he wasn’t booked and if he had have been I’d like to think he wouldn’t have made the second foul, it wasn’t in a critical position. They can go on about the second booking that didn't happen as much as they like, the way I see it, it evens things up for Guendouzi not getting a second yellow. Guendouzi should have picked up a second yellow card with his pull on Abraham in the first half. There were a few times in the second half where he was making tactical fouls too. I would say he was luckier to last the 90+ minutes than Jorginho was.
