He was so fast that he scared the sh*t out of Cheek. 

Just oozes quality, cant see him not being anything other than a huge success here.

I'd love to know what his top speed is, the kid is seriously rapid, that sprint he made to catch up for the intended pass from RLC, was Rapid, oh and he looks seriously sharp and good

Hopefully he breaks our striker curse. Our recent record with strikers has been very mixed, with only Drogba and Costa being the only unqualified successes I can think of. 

Really impressive debut from Timo. Looks the real deal.

He looked class, can see him scoring a barrel full this season. He has pace to burn which is amazing to watch!

But a faster version of Torres with a much lower centre of gravity and far more skill on the ball.

Thought he was absolutely fantastic last night even without scoring, would quite like to see him on penalty duty though. 

The fact he didn't score but still looked so impressive is definitely encouraging.

I see no problems at all with Werner, in fact I should probably calm down a bit, I’m too much on the hype train. 
But also woooooo, he is going to bang then in for sure. Great player for the price we paid too. Happy days.

He could definitely play on left with giroud in the middle.

God don’t remind me, we were linked with him every window for about 4 years...

If Timo can be 25% as good then we’ve still got a great player.

His pace is going to cause absolute havoc for opposition defences 

I like him a lot already,  in the Brighton post match interview when asked about his fitness to play Liverpool

he said :

"Of Course. In games like this, you are always fit" 

I heard

"I don't care if my leg hurts,  I am tearing Van Dyke a new ars*hol*"

Lets hope he does.

I hope we never use Werner in a wide position. He has previously stated that he prefers it through the middle and I hope we don’t shunt him wide just because he’s quick. That is an asset alone as a striker.

I think in some games he will need to play out wide as he won't have space in behind to exploit centrally, in those games you need a target man to draw defenders and create space for him. 

I bet he can't wait until Pulisic and Ziyech are fit. He's getting no help at the moment, it's like he is running the attack by himself.

Potentially a 20 league goal scorer with the right service.
