Havertz was really unlucky with the header at the end. Hits the player and he didn’t even realise. Saved a certain goal. 

Sliva, Mount, CHO all looked bright. The rest offered very little  

Surprised we didn’t see Werner. 
 

Disappointing not To get 3 points. We can’t afford to drop too many more points if we want to get top 4 (I think it’s gone). Tuchel needs to get the attack purring again because they have all been awful for a couple of months now.

And we were all talking about Wolves and Burnley as the turning point for Frank.

That was boring but the players looked sharper, playing wingers as wing backs instead of converting full backs to wing backs is good, makes the back thee an attacking line up. Kova and Jorginho rarely out of position. 
 

the subs were good. Chilwell will lose his place if he doesn’t attack better mount looked better than ziyech and that’s good competition for a spot. Havertz wasn’t great but  he was in the right position and the team will learn to use him better. Werner will probably replace giroud.

It was neither better nor worse really. What do you expect, the guy has had 1 training session with the team. Some of you are being ridiculous with your negativity. We all love lampard, but he's not the manager any more, and we need to give the new guy time to implement his own ideas and methods.

Tuchel will recognise the amount of runs Havertz tries to make, the education will be for our mids to see them, ie Chilwell, he does need to channel that 'constant Essien' type happy demeanour though...

Tuchel was fortunate that there was no crowd there tonight. With so many fans upset about Lampard being shown the door, and an boring 0-0  game, it would have been every bit as toxic as Rafa's first game.

Well, all I’ve learnt from that is how depressingly awful modern football is. It doesn’t really matter who the managers are when the team with the cheaper squad play 10 players at centre back. We’ve definitely got a squad of players as poor as I’ve ever seen, and they have zero creativity, but I’d defy Pep Guardiola with a time machine assembled best 11 of all time to have ground down what was the most negative performance I’ve seen from a visiting team at the Bridge, and I’ve seen  a lot of them in the last 15 years or so.

100% expect we’ll see a repeat when Burnley turn up on Sunday.

West brom tried the exact same thing against peps City and got torn apart.

Well that was hard work. Can’t put too much on the manager as he’s only been with the squad since yesterday. 
i can understand him going with experience first match but please please please have learnt not to play Jorginho unless it’s a cup match against lowly opposition or we have a series of injuries. Anytime I see his name on the team sheet I openly swear. Don’t want to get into a rant about him as it’s all been said but I think he holds us back and is Tailor-made for that Sarriball sh*t.

Pleased with CHO tonight, maybe we are beginning to see him stepping up.

Mount should start games for us.

Silva is such a classy footballer, pity hes not 5/10 younger, but still good enough to do a job in the Prem for at least another season.

Agreed. It also doesn't help when some of the few players who have actually played quite well this season were benched in favour of players whose terrible form was a factor behind Lampard's sacking

And that is in no way shape or form a good thing. Voice your opinion about Lampard for sure, but Tuchel doesn't deserve any abuse, and it's not really fair to give him any. The whole "circus continues" thing is perfectly fine, I think fans have a right to stick it to the board, but Tuchel should not be getting the Rafa Benitez treatment.

Absolutely spot on about wolves negativity, i did mention that at half time, i'm not sure, what you would do, except pass, pass , pass, and hope for an opening, what i haven't really heard, is what the 'Keyboard' managers would do different, total possession means they aint got the ball ffs...

How did the forms of Rudiger,Azpi,Jorginho etc. actually were a factor in Lampard's sacking when they barely played this season?

Like it or not some managers seem to believe they can get a tune out of Jorginho. Lampard made him vice captain in his first season and when Kante is back that midfield likely won't appear again. Gilmour is not going to start tonight as he's likely going out on loan. He wouldn't of started under Lampard either. 

That pivot frustrates me but it has a safe look about it when you have 3 at the back. He admitted he went with experience tonight and there's no doubt that Mount will be a very important chelsea player going forward. If Mount consistently impressed Lampard in training he will likely do the same with Tuchel. 

All I'm saying is, give him a few weeks so we can see his thinking. The club have alot of attacking talent to fit into a starting 11. He hasent got a pre season to figure this out. Neither did Lampard and then the board made a decision for a more experienced coach to try and make them tick. All this falls on the board and the money they have spent. By the sounds of it most of them were not lampard signings.
