Who remembers the QF Champions league victory over Arsenal in 2004?

Follow follow follow, there was only 10 minutes to go

then Wayne bridge scored a goal to send us out of control and put the arsenal out the Euro

remember it well. Great song that we had to change for...reasons

One of THE great wins of my life. Still gives me shivers. Watched it with my Northern in an Irish bar in the French Alps. I've got a pretty awesome record watching Chelsea while on holiday abroad (Vicenza, the Ivanovic game at Anfield, the 2-1 at OT with Crohn's offside goal, the 4-1 West Ham game when Maniche got sent off, Spuds away this season), but that was the best of all.

There used to be an incredible video on YouTube with amazing footage taken in our end with the backing track 'Someday' by Ash. Everyone should watch it, but it seems to have disappeared, sadly.

Edit: Found it!

Edit 2: The guy who made the video(she'd 69) has requested that this link be used to share it, not the one I originally used. I can't get rid of the second link though! Sorry.

I was still in high school when this happened. I Remember Wayne Bridge's winner like it was yesterday and jumping in the living room celebrating with the old man.

Remember it well, sat in sitting room with my son's who were 10 and 7 at time, bridge scored jumped up and as the camera panned along showing stunned gooners, I had my middle finger raised about an inch from the TV screen shouting you f**king mugs!!!, Not what a respectable father should do, but hey I had lost it!!

Funny you mention it, the season review DVDs I just found in a box have a bonus disc with the full Arsenal match.

In a bar in Paris full of Arsenal supporters and others who I thought were Chelsea supporters but turned out to be United revelling in Arsenal's misery. Nearly broke one guys back with a slap when Bridge scored.

I watched the game in a pub with my brother-in-law who is an Arsenal fan. Goes without saying that I was happier than him. Spoke to my sister the next day and she told me that my brother-in-law was in a foul mood when he arrived home. Hopefully he'll be in a foul mood after tomorrow's game.

Still one of my favourite games (this one, the Bolton one, the 4-2 Barca game and the CL final being the other obvious ones).

Arsenal had the wood over us for so long and this game turned that around.  I was in college at the time and here in Australia the game was on early in the morning and I remember almost missing my bus because I stayed at home a little longer to see the match to the end.  Good times!

EDIT:  Watching the video above, Bridgey always gets all the plaudits for the finish, but take nothing away from the sublime touch by Eidur to put him into the space.

I used to be a member, and poster, on BAWA, had a drink a few times with various others from there at the match, the chap who made this vid used to go with his brother, from St Albans area, I think. Really nice couple of gents to boot.

I'd been to the home leg, and the atmosphere when Eidur scored, even in the West Lower, was electric. Alas I couldn't get a ticket for the away leg so had to settle for watching it in front of my tv, couldn't go out to watch it as I was far too pumped up.

Out of all the games I've missed down the years, this is the one I'd pick to have been at, no hesitation, not Munich, not Bolton (83 or 05), but the night we finally laid our bogie against them bums to rest.

Invincibles my arse.

Fondly remember this game. Arsenal had the wood over us for years, so to win in a tense contest was fantastic.

I think it also shifted the balance of power toward our direction after Arsenal had a monopoly on being the top London team for several years.

Always hated that he was booed when he played in the "handshake" game for City.

People have such short memories

He was booed because of the garbage he came out with in the run up to that game as much as anything else.

I remember is so well why because i lived in north london that time and was in college with all Tottenham and Arsenal supporters it was Epic going back into college with a grin on my face absolutely epic
