We are going to suffer watching Chelsea for different reasons this season compared to last...no more defensive false nine, no more defending either...bring it on!

What a match? Kovacs looks very good as did Barklay. Luiz was a weak link and we need a centre back. Great football but poor defensively. This needs to be worked on. Great win.

Yes, Sarri's first win against one of the big teams. We deserved it, we were the better side throughout. Arsenal were poor and needed our mistakes to be a threat.

Hazard won us that match in the 2nd half, he was incredibly when he came on. It feels like his game has gone up another level since the world cup.

Fantastic stuff.

Alonso was fantastic second half, and if he can play like that, then il be very happy. 

Motm pedro tho for me. he was everywhere.

Controlled the second half brilliantly, especially when kovacic and hazard came on.

Second half we played a far more realistic brand of football. No balls to the wall attack, but just a more solid platform offensively and defensively.

Hazard is still going to be key to unlocking tougher defences.

The league table tonight has a welcome look to it ... Chelsea on top ... West Ham at the bottom ... no points for Arsenal as well ... :-)

It will be  interesting to see if we are now first on MOTD and if not why not.

We more than deserved it we control the game and only let them in with our defensive mishaps, better team won by miles

I think we should do that weird thing that the Ukrainian journalist did where he faked his assaination. We pretend Hazard has been bumped until after the European transfer window closes.

Happy to sneak a win there. It's certainly going to be a different type of season isn't it?

So happy for Morata to score, and happy that Alonso showed his class after a tough first half with little protection.

Hazard was superb and Kovacic was also great when he came on. He played a little deeper than Barkley and allowed Jorginho to play a role in the final third. Anyone else thinking it's hard to tell Hazard and Kovacic apart on the ball? Similar haircuts, sizes and running styles.

Kovacic and Hazard have made the change. Hazard with the assist, Kovacic took control and helped Jorginho lead the game. It's just great!

That was interesting....wow. I give Alonso a hard time sometimes, but he stepped up and defended better in the 2nd half, no doubting his attacking ability.

Or three or four goals up at halftime.  Have a look at your glass, Phillip.  Is it half full or half empty?

My favourite thing about that win is the way Sarri tweaked things to give us complete control in that second half, great to see how much influence he has already. He closed all the gaps and made the perfect changes, Man I'm excited for this season now.
