Official Thomas Tuchel *Now Sacked*

Featured Replies

Obviouly it's very sad to see Frank go, but I'm quite excited to see what Tuchel can do with this squad over the next 18 months.

He saved the club from potentially sharing with Crystal palace,

That's not true Fulham yes but there was never any talk about sharing with Palace.

Gullit was a lazy f#cker when he was the coach. He was more interested in his modeling career than coaching the team. That's why Bates sent him down the road.

He was just as crap at newcastle.

Okay, well I actually remember being a fan when he was sacked in 1998 and I remember the fan outrage then, I don't know what you remember but that doesn't ring true at all.

Read the History, Chelsea would'nt exist, they wanted to develop the current site into houses had Bates not stood in their way. Im not saying he did'nt do well out of it eventually, had it not been for the untimely death of Matthew Harding there would be no Abramovic. Puppet that he is.

Read my posts. I know. I know why Bates bought us for a £1. I am not criticising him for that.

I am simply saying can you afford Roman the same respect as Bates.

Ah well, it was fun having academy lads coming through. Gonna be fun watching mount, Abraham, James gilmour etc all at everton, Newcastle, west ham while we have overpaid plodder....yay for the future.

Obviously, it is always difficult for a coach to enter a club in the middle of the season.
Even more so with the toxic environment that we breathe around the club.

Nagelsmann would have been the best option, but he obviously did not want to accept the position at this point, Tuchel was the best option among those available on the market.

He is an excellent football coach, another one for the Premier League, I wish him all the luck and success and that he can take us to the top 4 this season and something much better next season.

He is now our coach!

Let's wait and see what he does in the next few games, but if he is reverting back to Kovacic-Jorginho as a midfield we are truly f**ked in this PL, they've been overrun time and time again by other midfields. Hopefully he realises that Mount and Gilmour are the future midfield of the club.

These Russian oligarchs with their phenomenal wealth would still have been looking to invest in football clubs, and Harding's wealth was a fraction of RA's. I get your point that the club might not have been in such debt and looking for a buyer if MH had lived, but RA might still have made Bates/ Harding an offer they couldn't refuse.

Possibly, we'll never know will we

Oh just stop with this bs.Every midfield Frank went for this season was overrun in many games and in those games both Mount and Kante played. He is obviously going for some experience in his first game and is probably being sensible with Mount considering he knows that Mason was pretty close to Frank.Gilmoure didn't even feature much under Frank except in these cup games this season so I don't see why would Tuchel come in and just give him the starting position lol

True.

Start with the old sh*te and thing can only improve from there.......................!

Perfectly happy with his lineups for the first 10 games or so until he starts establishing an idea of who should be starting and the combinations he wants to play etc.

The only puzzling thing is he has 2 LB's on the bench when he could've opted for Billy

If those players end up at those clubs then they aren't good enough to play for Chelsea...

I don't think that's the case!

I think your fear should be that they end up at Tottenham, Liverpool, City, United or one of the big European clubs. But I hope that Tuchel is a good enough manager to identify the talent and retain it and develop it. Youth players should only play for us if they are good enough.

Usually when the manager is clearly wrong you do see a new manager bounce with the replacement. However in our case it is pretty clear that a lot of the issues rest with the players. This is not going to be something that is solved unless we offload some of the rubbish currently on our payroll. In fact I'd say we took a step backwards in the short term because the new manager has given starts back to some players who should have been sold a long time ago.

What smile, I haven't smiled since Monday.

Oh, you mean the board members' smiles?

tuchel was smiling pre match in the interview more than any manager ive seen at this club, completley vanished at FT

Terribly performance once again. All of our players are part of their national teams but nobody can do anything but take safe decission. This is so frustrating to watch. Tuchel has an impossible task ahead of him. It is goodbye to CL next season that is for sure.

Chillwell has been really poor for quite some time now. CHO was our best player tonight. I think Haverzt played ok. Mount was very good but had too few minutes. Like someone said earlier one should try Gilmore on Jorgiho's place, can't be any worse can it.
