Best 98 minutes I've ever seen from him. 10/10. Still don't think he should be re-signed tho

That performance from Willian was sensasional. I think that may have been the best performance I have seen from any player this season. De Bruyne maybe the only player that has put in a performance as good.

I just wish this performance was the norm from him. He would have been remembered as one of the best to play the game if he had consistency.

Brilliant today. MOTM when there were plenty of contenders. If only he could perform like that more often, he would be up there with Hazard.

Best player on the field. A #10 and then some. An absolutely pleasure to watch against Spurs.

Really a 10/10 performance, solved the game and proved he's a top player. Priceless and timeless performance that a fan can only be thankful for.

Probably his best performance since Barcelona at home that and he's had some really good games this season. 

His control and pass late on in the match deserved a goal to finish it. Immense today.

I can't understand people criticising his lack of goals when even our striker is missing chances.

Loved the way he brought down that high clearance late in the 2nd, taking the Spurs defenders out of the equation and then making a good pass.

I think he's still having one of his best seasons, it's just how he will play like this then do nothing another game is what puts people off. 

It's more a frustration thing, because we've seen him play absolutely immense. 

best ive ever seen him play, touch and pass at the end was pure filth. 

That performance was as good a 10/10 as you will see, all his Samba flair, skills, Pace , Technique, and finishing, sublime

Everything Willian did today was so precise. The best moments for me was his pass to Azpilicueta at 1:39 and the little piece of skill and then pass to Kante at 2:04.

That ball to Azpi was amazing, so amazing that it annoyed me so much at how Azpi brought it down, that's a ball you can easily use to run onto goal with.

Today shows why I’m glad to defend him. He does these things regularly but maybe not all in one performance. 

Willy has had his doubters over the years but judge the player over time and his contribution to club success. Sometimes he’s frustrating like taking corners, other times he pops up with a strike from outside the box or a superb free kick into the goal . Today he’s done the # 10 shirt proud with a match winning performance of the highest caliber - how towards the end he received the ball & passed to Bats who then narrowly missed was skills!  I’ve always thought he’s run his socks off for Chelsea despite the criticism. Today is his just rewards for his service to CFC

I was a doubter until seeing how hard he works this season under Frank, I kind of think it is also related to Hazard going that he feels he has a freer role to have a go.

I think Just was saying on the Kante thread that there’s so much Kante does that goes under the radar (apologies if I got that wrong, Just). Well, I think that applies to Willian too. Even in the games where he frustrates, we take a lot for granted: technique / skill (it’s insane! And if you don’t believe me, listen to Tammy); phenomenal engine, up there with Kante; and perhaps least obvious - strength. He’s very very strong and hard to push off the ball. Just compare how easily Mount gets muscled off the ball, and I don’t mean that as a criticism of Mount - just to highlight that these things aren’t easy, yet Willian makes them look so...

He has been more consistent this season, but previous seasons he hasn't. Needs to keep it up.
