FT. I feel we didn't earn that.

Relying on a defender to score twice is a warning.

Our attacking players should be ashamed as should our defence.

This will be what it will be like until the summer at least though so no point getting our hopes up of top 4.

Our board have screwed Frank and us.

Take the draw and run. Could have easily been a loss.

A draw against a top 4 team away from home is a decent result.

Lots of improvement needed though if we're going to remain in the top 4.

That last combination by Leicester summed up our team. 3 players in the same ball and just a simple pass and our whole defence was shot to pieces.

Personally I think this is not down to player quality.

Lots of holes still, but things are really ok. Main positive for me is how much less of a concern the back 4 is these days vs earlier in the season, though still not without issues. And - scoring from set pieces! How much of that have we seen? Might as well close the man of the match thread today.

No real complaints today at the result. Good point in the end, we both had chances and didn't take them. Wind caused a few mistakes. Mount is getting some stick but he is the only player comfortable in pressing from the front for 90mins , compare that to Barkley who gives a good impression of a 'lazy scouse git'

I'll take that. Especially as we gifted them two massive chances to win it.

Few positives to take. Rudiger's all round performance, Lampard finally hooking Jorginho, there being two hair cuts out of Car Wash on the park and I found a fiver down the back of my sofa.

Jorghino, Abraham and Pedro particularly poor today. Maybe the best thing that can happen to us is that Jorginho gets another booking in next game forcing Lampard to try something different for two games.

OK Willy had a brain freeze for the goal but at least he looked capable of making saves. He should keep his place on next game.

It was interesting in h2 how we ran out of steam and constantly had to hit the ball long

cho was excellent until about minut 60 and non existent after that and James seemed to also rim out of energy. I don’t think either mount or Barkley are good enough and would prefer Kovacic in mounts place from the start. Mount did get two assists for Tony’s goals though.

A game that could have gone either way, but poor finishing in the first half and sh*te defending in the second cost us 3 points today.  Crying out for a centre forward and more quality in other positions, but that's water under the bridge now.  All we can do is cross our fingers and hope we hang onto 4th, if we can beat Utd and Spurs at home we have a chance...

You seriously need to take a closer look at the coaching staff. Too many areas of concerns on this team.

Obviously, the players don't help either.

Awful going forward in the second half. Trying to play in triangles on the bylines and going nowhere.

Azpi having no left foot, kept forcing him back inside to Rudiger to lump it forward with his left foot.

Willian and Barkley were terrible when they came on,  jorginho shouldve been hooked earlier.

1st was decent so a point is a fair result.

We really need this winter break...

Lampard has to stop trying to throw a tantrum and re intergrate Giroud into the side. Tammy was hot at the beginingof the season but he has been abysmal recently. I would take Giroud over Ighalo any day of the week

Barkley has been horrific

Yeah, 110% agreed.

Rudiger saved us. Willy is trash, jorghinio is worse. Azpi's career looks like its over.

We need to get the winner spirit back. And every time we score a goal, er concede a goal minutes after. We also need to be tougher on the oppositions ball

Never a dull day supporting the Blues. f**king hell watching us is not good for the heart.

Rudiger and Kante were monsters. Mount was great too. His pressing was superb.

Jorginho was great for the first 30 minutes when we had the ball. As soon as Leicester came into it he didn't get the ball and was a non existent screen on the counter. Such that we were actively bypassing him by going long from free kicks.

Frank made a further point to whoever is running things today by bringing on Barkley instead of Michy. Felt like RdM starting Hazard instead of Torres that time at Juve.

A lucky point in the end although we should have scored multiple times before halftime.

Lucky draw in my opinion. Lots of players and management under performing today.

Lampard piss poor in his tactics and choice of players.  and the substitution to make a point to the board, oh dear !  what are you gaining with that? You are going to play with this group of players until the summer, better focus on the job, you are not doing it very well at the moment.

Can't wait for Ruben and Pulisic to be back. Half of the team today don't deserve ( based on current form and effort ) to be on the pitch playing for Chelsea .

Sorry but I am a bit frustrated with our performance today

The draw is OK. The United game will probably decide if we get 4th or not.

I'm not so certain of that. If they win today, the gap is 4 points. If we win against them next week, it is back to 7, but with our form, that doesn't guarantee anything. All it takes is for one team chasing us to string a bunch of wins together and they will over take us. Somebody is going to do it eventually, I just hope it's us that does it.

Fair to say Leicester should have won with big chances in the second half. We regressed and could barely string a pass together towards the end.
Feels like a point gained, based on the balance of play and performance.

Eh. Standard pattern of play first half. Good first 10-15 minutes, don't take our chances, other team comes back into it and causes lots of problems. Second half we were lucky to get a point, some awful defending as per usual. First goal was 2 simple passes, one through the midfield, one through the defence. 2nd goal poor all round. Barnes sjhould have made it 3, awful tracking by James.

We just gave the ball away so much, we can't seem to handle any pressing at all.

Good: James (1st half), Rudiger, Hudson-Odoi (1st half)
Poor: Azpilicueta, Jorginho, Kante (awful)

At least we didn't lose.

For some reason, some are desperate to defend the board.

But you are absolutely right. Our attackers can't score to save their lives.
If they could we would have been out of sight before Leicester got a hold in this game.
