It was the same when we were missing Hazard also, he does so much for the side, he's unplayable. Then we missed Morata, Drinkwater, Bakayoko. Fabregas having to play in the two-man midfield certainly hasn't helped our results. But look how good we are when we have a full side, although I do worry about this Luiz situation, he is vital to our setup.

    Get in!! Yes!! What effort. I am not sure anyone had a bad game. Christensen played very well. Did not miss Luiz. So glad to see the different lineup. Thought we controlled the game except final frantic 6-7 minutes when United were crossing them in one after another. Shame Morata could finish one of those late opportunities but I will gladly take the one wonder header into the corner for the lone goal!!

    Midfield looked soooo different today. I really like Cesc with Kante and Bakayoko. Heck, I might look good with those two. (ha!)

    Great to feel good after a big match again. Thought the Bridge was loud in the second half. Great job those there.

    Different class.Our football was so good at times and what a goal to win it.Morata is a proper header of the ball.Cesc superb and Kante looked as if he had never been away.Tight at the back as well.Sorry Jose you are not that good.....UP THE CHELS !

    I'm starting to think it's a Chelsea thing. I think even if we put Messi or Ronaldo up there they would fluff a chance to keep our nerves on edge :biggrin:

    Get in...what a performance, best we've been since atletico performance, should of been a rout 

    Courtois - Couple good saves, no complaints

    Azpi - hero, looks a rock and again putting in the ball for a winner 

    Andreas - should be first choice, cool on the ball, no issues handling power forwards and quick ones in Lukaku and Rashford, should of got his goal as well. 

    Cahill - Did really well, I know he's hit or miss but can't fault him today - solid in the air against Fellani which is an achievement.

    Zappa - Actually thought he played very well, can do better going ahead but makes all the right runs.

    Alonso - Strong defensively and got forward well, needs to rediscover his crossing ability 

    Fab - Brilliant, In a 2 he gets over run but pure class today. Interplay with Hazard was a signt

    Kante - makes every single player on the team better , no coincidence our intensity is upped the second he's back in the team.

    Baka - Showed what he's capable of, power house performance bossed Matic and Herrara and got forward brilliantly, should be man of the match but man, take shooting classes :s

    Hazard - My man of the match, class above, linked so well with Fab and Morata. United could only foul him.

    Morata - What a header, equally impressed with his hold up, he was so much more physical today and drew fouls and relieved pressure at the end as well. Should of scored more than the one.

    Overall a much more committed and intense performance, Conte got it spot on and I think this proves the players are in it with him. Titles not disappeared yet and this result proves the players are going to fight every step of the way and for me that's enough.

    Wait, they deserved to be rewarded for failing to score but somehow our players should be criticised for failing to score?

    Great performance from the team. Azpi-Christensen-Cahill performed well today. Kante gave us so much boost to our playing.The weakness we have at the moment are the wingbacks, Alonso especially.
