Lukaku was f**king brilliant. He was a constant problem for Arsenal.

Don't know what you are all getting excited about, it took him 10 years to score his first goal for us 

Dominated the game. Almost looked like ahead of the others, the team can further improve. MOTM for me despite James having a goal and assist.

Best striker we've had since Diego, he has everything in his game to propel us to the next level. We had everything last season except for a clinical striker, we had players to dominate possession, defenders and a keeper to keep clean sheets and creative forwards. Ziyech and Lukaku I can imagine will play well together.

Honestly, this is as expected. I am just surprised that a lot of people were or are against his signing. 

Offensively our team suddenly goes to the next level. Now we can suddenly attack through the middle and we have a presence in the box. Lukaku touch is still not great but it is irrelevant, he can use his strength to compensate. 

That was like watching prime Drogba. Absolutely bullied Pablo Mari.

Excactly what we've been missing for a long, long time. Already clear he's a leader in this team as well which is a bonus.

Brilliant today, an all round centre forward performance.

Proficient goal scorer, scores goal. 

Sometimes in life you get exactly what you pay for. 

He looks a completely different player than when he was at United. Touch, strength, confidence. He was unreal today. 

So excited to watch him up for the rest of the season. He's going to take us to another level. 

Ok only one game and hope I’m not jinxing it…but I was really happy we signed Lukaku. Haaland has a lot of quality too but Lukaku actually loves chelsea, this is his dream. He will do everything to make it work. He is a real leader and positive influence in that dressing room, no ego that he’s bigger and better than anyone else, a real team man.

Potential to be one of the best things Conte did for us....Turning Lukaku into a proper player!

Conte would have got Lukaku playing like this for us four years ago. The only disappointment as far as he’s concerned is that the move didn’t happen four years ago when he wanted it to.
