You look at Liverpool and i've never seen anything other than their fans saying Trent is the best RB in the world.

Same with City fans and Foden, even though Mount had better numbers than him last season.

Same with Arsenal fans with Saka and Martinelli. Mount is better than both of these and gets far more abuse than either of them from their own fans.

Honestly, some weird fans about these days.

Agreed. We've been waiting for him for so long. 

I remember people were hyping him when he went to Vitesse and became captain there

I just don't understand the standard that we use for our academy grad. I am more than happy to get a rotational level player from our academy let alone a starter material such as Mount. 

But that is not the standard that a lot of people use. Mount basically need to be as good as kdb or Gallagher need to be as good as Kante. 

He will get better. And so will his G & A

We did have a village idiot here who berated Mount for winning POTY for the 2020-2021 season  What was he supposed to do, stuff ballot boxes? Refuse the award?

Mount has been the most disappointing player on the pitch so far this season. And it hasn't even been close. But, under little Tommy T, he will never ride the pine.

Mount has undeniably been well below par in the three games so far this season and I wouldn't have an issue if he was benched for a few games as nobody should be guaranteed a first team spot.

However most disappointing outfield player (of those getting a decent number of minutes) for me has been Havertz by a country mile. 

He doesn't look capable of offering anything of note any more than the likes of Pulisic, CHO or Ziyech.

There are more than enough impressive performances in Mount's locker to be confident he will pick up again. I can't say that for the four mentioned above.

 

Mount is one of the best in the squad, his career has progressed exceptionally for Chelsea and England!  a steady improvement giving every indication of longevity and potential improvement for one so young. if one feels the need to criticize him and lament Pullys lack of opportunities then quite frankly one could be  barking up the wrong tree ! 

 

Mase still looks like one of the very few that can actually make something happen up top. Him, Sterling and Reece are the only ones in the team who seem to be able to create anything.

Ok. We must be watching two different teams. Hope he continues his stellar performances.  Glad you guys are pleased.

Wish we would play him as an 8.

He's been disappointing, from my point of view, and I would agree that he needs benched if there were alternatives. The problem for me is that none of the subs fill me with confidence. And he's still one of the best starting players, so that's telling about how badly I see the rest of the the players.

Should 100% be very worried for his starting position.

Miles better when he was hooked. Been absymal this season.

I fear that burnout has finally caught up with him. 4 years in row of pretty much non stop football with very few breaks in between, averaging over 60 games a season in the past 3 seasons alone. Incredibly risky to give so many games to a player of that age.

Very poor start to the season from Mason. Time for a few weeks on the bench I think.

He's burned out like Oscar, needs to rest a bit. Without him we scored twice while with a player less so it's not about Leicester but mental tiredness.

Hopefully after that ghost display Tuchel finally drops him until he fixes up.

He needs dropping. Needs to realise he isn't un-droppable with performances like that. Add Havertz too. 

Broja and Pulisic/Ziyech should be starting against Saints.

If we sign Auba I can see him getting a extend period out of the team

Big time Chelsea fan. Not a big time TT fan. Dude plays favorites and has no idea how to motivate attacking players. We are four games in - Havertz and Mount have crapped the bed in four consecutive starts. Still, little Tommy T will continue to start the Golden Boy and the German Skeleton. If it wasn't for RS, this Chelsea attack would be the worst in the PL, bar none.
