I still don't understand how he got frozen out in the second half of last season. He made a few mistakes, but when you see how many errors Christensen and Rudiger were making, I don't understand how he never got another run in the team. It's even more confusing because the pairing of Zouma and Tomori was our best pairing before Lampard changed things.

It could have been, but even with 11 men, I didn't enjoy a single second of that match. 

To be completely honest, apart from the 0-2 Kepa did a good job passing under pressure all game. Yes it was a terrible mistake but if we pass the ball around our own box all game this is bound to happen especially because Mendy is known for being questionable on the ball. I hope people are aware of that when they complain about Kepa. 

Enough is enough! Kepa has to go. Today is surely the final nail in the coffin for his Chelsea career.

Thought the scoreline would be worse in the end, so quietly relieved in a strange way but overall very disappointed with how the match unfolded.

At least we still have some exciting signings to play soon. That should bolster the team considerably.

Awful match as expected.

Genuinely thought that was going in the bottom corner when it left his foot. Worrying I’m more surprised at a save rather than the goal from that distance.

Personal silver lining for me is that I have Mane in my FL team.. Other than that, incredibly disappointing. Also, put Timo on pens, he wins them, he needs a goal.

Okay, from looking at the Twitter reaction, I may be in the minority but I'm optimistic on this occasion.

We lost 2-0 to the league champions with a number of players injured and a player sent off.

Yes, a poor result but I can't help but feel some are overreacting so early in the season.

Frustrating game. We didn't play very well first half, but we were still in it, until the sending off. Every time you think Christensen has turned a corner and he starts to put some good performances in, he goes and does something incredibly stupid again... At least we showed some fight and desire in the 2nd half and kept working hard till the end. We could have easily collapsed and conceded 5 or 6.

Until we get a proper coach nothing is going to change for the better.

I feel so sorry for Werner. He was the only one trying out there and he was left totally isolated up front.

Get Kepa out now, and put someone on penalties who can actually smash the ball ffs. I hated Hazard's routine and I hate Jorginho's. I don't mind if the keeper saves it if the player has at least tried to bury it. Pathetic.

Seething at the team today. Not happy with Frank's formation choice either. 

I've watched a few of these opening games. I think we're in contention with United for the worst performance home performance

lol no. First half was the worst for me letting them play their game was driving me mad

Kepa wasn't bad at all he gave away the goal but that was just pure pressure from Mane and it happens

Not negative by any chance : style of play might be similar
